Pricing and Budget Tips

We’ve found that the best recipe for success in the process of booking florals is to share some pricing basics up-front. Doing this helps you prioritize as we navigate the process together. It’s very often the case that the vision and the budget don’t match up at first, so we’ve put together some helpful guidelines and questions you can review with your partner to help you streamline communication and set goals at the outset of the process.

Banded Pricing

When you fill out our Questionnaire, you’ll find a question that asks about budget. We understand it can be a challenge to guestimate budget when you’ve likely never purchased wedding florals before. So to help you out, we’ve created sample orders for you to reference to give you an idea of what each band might accomplish.

These are just examples with no specific floral variety in mind. Premium florals will bring the order quantities down within each band of pricing. If you have a unique combination of items that you’d like to fit into one of these tiers, reach out and we figure it out together.

The purpose of these guidelines is to help you understand what might be possible within each band of pricing. Some combinations will not be possible in the lower price ranges.

All pricing is listed before government-mandated sales tax.

$450-$2500
Elopements and Micro-Weddings

This option is for elopements and local pickups only. It never includes ceremony decor that requires onsite installation such as arch/arbor/huppah florals.

For the $450 minimum, you can expect to receive either a single bouquet or a bouquet and one additional small piece such as a boutonniere, pocket garden, or corsage.

The typical small wedding order within this price range includes some combination of the following (selecting all of the items below will go over $1000):

  • Bouquet (or two for two brides)

  • Boutonniere (or two for two grooms)

  • Something for bridal hair (usually either a comb, hair pins, or a crown/tiara)

  • Something for the officiant (usually boutonniere, pinned corsage, or cuff corsage, but sometimes a crown/tiara)

  • Select Centerpiece Rentals

  • Select Ceremony Rentals

We have a non-negotiable boundary regarding arch decor for orders in this range. We will not hand off arch decor for you to set up yourself here in Moab. However, if you’d like to rent floor pieces, this is an option.

Please reach out for individual consideration if you are requesting shipping. Shipping availability is determined on a case-by-case basis.

Priorities

After looking through these price bands, if you find that the decor you’d like to see on your wedding day will exceed the budget you anticipated, it’s time to start prioritizing. There are a few different ways you can go from here, and we’d be happy to talk through them with you. Here are some questions to ask yourself as you plan out your floral budget:

  1. What are the most important floral elements that will be in many or most of your wedding photos? (Personal flowers and arch decor are often the answer—ceremony photos, couples shots, family shots—but you might have a different answer, and that’s great!)

  2. What items can serve a dual purpose at your wedding? (For example, can we move Arch decor to your sweetheart table and aisle decor to your tablescapes or other areas of the reception? Can we reuse the bridesmaid bouquets as centerpieces?)

  3. What floral items are “must-haves” versus “nice-to-haves”?

  4. If you had to choose between wedding party florals and reception decor, what would you choose?

  5. Where, if anywhere, can you reduce costs by replacing florals with candles or other rental decor?

  6. Are there non-floral categories in your total wedding budget you can adjust in order to increase your floral budget?

  7. Would you consider an extended payment plan with a wedding finance company to achieve your full floral vision?
